"I wasn't trying to leave a legacy, i was trying to do what was right."
- Dean Smith

This isn't going to be a reflection, I want to talk about who everyone loved and looked up to Dean Smith they didn't just look up to him because he was a great coach because there are great coaches everywhere in the world. They loved him because he was such an amazing person he always tried doing what was right he never cared about the difference in skin color he always tried to make them feel equal.

Karma will take care of itself.
" Its not about how to achieve your dreams. Its about how to lead your life. If you lead your life the RIGHT WAY, the karma (destiny, fortune, good luck) will take care of itself. The dreams will come to you." - Dr. Randy Pausch

I think what this quote is saying is that if you lead your life in the right direction then from there and on it will be also more easier to try accomplish your dreams will eventually come to you because its not about " oh i have to make my dreams come true ," its about trying so just try and if you think your leading your life in the right direction then go for it.

"Take responsibility for YOUR OWN body, mind, and spirit,
for your own physical, mental, and spiritual well-being."
-Mr. Haymore

I think that this quote because i think that you should take responsibility for your own body , mind, and spirit, but also for your own physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. You can do that by living a healthy life . You cant sit around waiting for someone to save you because if you are doing that then your just waiting your time, because its not anyone's job to help you but yourself. So take responsibility for yourself.

The Goal of True Education

"Intelligence is not enough. Intelligence plus character,
that is the goal of true education." - Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

I like this quote because it teaches you that if you want to be successful you have to not only be intelligent but you also need to have good character. Having good character can tell so much about you it can tell what kind of person you are and if you are committed to what you need to do, but when they find out that you are not really that intelligent they might just say that you are a great person with great character but your not that intelligent for the job that we need to have done. Always make sure that you have a good character and that you are smart because if you have that you will e very successful in life.

Student Success Statement
"We need the courage to START and CONTINUE
what we should do, and the courage to STOP
what we shouldn't do." - Richard L. Evans

We all need the courage to start, continue,or stop something that we should or shouldn't do. Honestly sometimes the things that are wrong fell so right but we also need to know that when it starts to feel wrong we have to do something to stop it or just try to make it right. We all get into certain situations sometimes where we have to choose between either starting something or if you already started it you might need to choose between continuing or stopping the situation. You need that courage because if you don't have that courage then it would be a lot harder to stop/start doing something that you know may/may not ruin your life. Always do what you feel is right but just make sure that you think through it very carefully, and if its what you think is right then go for it but if not stop don't continue it and do whats right. Try to be a CTR person because choosing the right can always help you find that courage.

" When you Tell One Lie,
it leads to Another"  - Paul Hatch

I agree with Paul Hatch because its really true. For example if you have a girlfriend/boyfriend and you tell them that they mean everything to you and that you'll do whatever it takes so you guys can be together but you do not mean it you just say it so that he/she can be happy and so they can say "oh he/she really likes me". After that your going to think oh let me tell him/her this just so she can still think i am telling her the truth. When we lie it might seem that it doesn't effect a person but in reality it does people we can make them think one thing but your thinking/ saying another thing. I know because i have lied and i and i have been lied too and lets be honest being lied too is not fun well in certain situations. The truth can hurt one thousand times more but its better to tell the truth then to tell and lie and then tell another lie just, or we might lie so much that that we do not even notice it. Telling someone the truth is always the best thing to do .
School Break Days

During my break i did not really do much. My mom took my cousin and i to the movies to go see the movie  " The Forest"  which was pretty confusing so you have to pay really good attention so you can understand it but,it was also super scary i was kind of covering my eyes because i felt that something/someone was going to pop up and sometimes it did and sometimes it didn't. I was practically home all break i would only go out when it was a holiday or someones birthday. For Christmas i went to my aunts but it didnt really feel like Christmas this year for me i dont know why. For New Year i went to my brothers house because he had a New Years Eve party which was so much fun but it was just super cold.
