Student Success Statement

"Only those live who do good." - Count Leo Tolstoy

People that live are the ones that do good in life and those who don't do that good aren't really living.

Student Success Statement

" You cant be right by doing wrong ,you cant be wrong by doing right."

-Thomas S Monson

I like this quote because its true, you cant be right by doing something wrong and you cant be wrong by doing something right. Its like when you are having an argument with someone and you know your right but that person doesn't either believe or doesn't want to listen to you so you decide to make them believe you and listen to you by doing something wrong doesn't mean that, that person would want to believe you anymore because you decided to do something wrong just to prove that you were right the whole time. You also cant be wrong by doing right because if you do something right and that person still thinks that your wrong well it would be the other way around because how would they expect you to do something right be wrong.

Student Success Statement

"I wasn't trying to leave a legacy, i was trying to do what was right."

- Dean Smith

This isn't going to be a reflection, I want to talk about who everyone loved and looked up to Dean Smith they didn't just look up to him because he was a great coach because there are great coaches everywhere in the world. They loved him because he was such an amazing person he always tried doing what was right he never cared about the difference in skin color he always tried to make them feel equal.

Karma will take care of itself.

" Its not about how to achieve your dreams. Its about how to lead your life. If you lead your life the RIGHT WAY, the karma (destiny, fortune, good luck) will take care of itself. The dreams will come to you." - Dr. Randy Pausch

I think what this quote is saying is that if you lead your life in the right direction then from there and on it will be also more easier to try accomplish your dreams will eventually come to you because its not about " oh i have to make my dreams come true ," its about trying so just try and if you think your leading your life in the right direction then go for it.

     Student Success Statement

"Take responsibility for YOUR OWN body, mind, and spirit,

for your own physical, mental, and spiritual well-being."

-Mr. Haymore

I think that this quote because i think that you should take responsibility for your own body , mind, and spirit, but also for your own physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. You can do that by living a healthy life . You cant sit around waiting for someone to save you because if you are doing that then your just waiting your time, because its not anyone's job to help you but yourself. So take responsibility for yourself.

The Goal of True Education

"Intelligence is not enough. Intelligence plus character,

that is the goal of true education." - Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

I like this quote because it teaches you that if you want to be successful you have to not only be intelligent but you also need to have good character. Having good character can tell so much about you it can tell what kind of person you are and if you are committed to what you need to do, but when they find out that you are not really that intelligent they might just say that you are a great person with great character but your not that intelligent for the job that we need to have done. Always make sure that you have a good character and that you are smart because if you have that you will e very successful in life.
